Bike & Battle Safari Programme 2017
Day 1: Thursday Afternoon
Arrive at Base Camp by late afternoon for a briefing, beers and a braai to get to know each other. The riding raconteurs will give a brief overview of the lead up to the Anglo Zulu War and these battles.
Day 2: Friday: Battle Sites Day
The routes will take the riders to both Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift
Day 3: Saturday: Adventure Day
Due to popular demand from previous Bike & Battle participants, Adventure Day for the more technical riders will be on trails very seldom ridden and will include all the area can throw at them.
While not being so hectic, the shorter, easier route will still challenge the riders within their comfort zone.
Day 4: Sunday: Wagon Trail
The rewards trump the climb to the top of the Wagon Trail, with no doubt every rider having their skills tested on the descent.
As before, the recreational riders are not neglected with the shorter route taking in some exhilarating trail in the commercial farms
